The Oxymed Oxygen Concentrator Mini – 5 LPM is a compact and easy-to-use oxygen delivery system designed for general wellness applications in home environments. With a flow capacity of up to 5 litres per minute, it provides adjustable oxygen enrichment for personal use.

Its lightweight and portable design makes it convenient for use at home or while traveling. Featuring quiet operation and an intuitive interface, it supports daily oxygen routines with ease. The device is energy-efficient and features a washable filter for long-term reliability.

Using the Oxymed Mini (5L) Oxygen Concentrator is simple, but it’s important to follow the correct procedure to ensure safe and effective oxygen delivery. Start by placing the concentrator on a flat, stable surface in a well-ventilated area, making sure it’s at least one foot away from walls or obstacles. Avoid placing it near heat sources or covering it with cloth, as proper airflow is essential for optimal function. Plug the device into a wall outlet or a reliable power backup like a UPS or inverter if your area experiences power fluctuations.

If your doctor has prescribed humidified oxygen, fill the humidifier bottle with distilled or sterile water up to the marked level—never overfill. Attach the bottle securely to the humidifier port on the machine, then connect the oxygen tubing to the top outlet of the bottle. If you’re not using a humidifier, simply attach the nasal cannula or oxygen mask tubing directly to the machine’s oxygen outlet nozzle. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

Next, switch on the concentrator using the power button. Once powered, set the oxygen flow rate using the flow control knob or digital buttons, depending on your model. Your prescribed flow rate (e.g., 2 L/min or 5 L/min) should be clearly displayed either on the analog flow meter (as a floating ball) or on the digital screen. Most Oxymed units include a built-in oxygen purity indicator, which will show a green light if the machine is producing ≥90% oxygen. If a yellow or red warning appears, check the tubing for kinks or consult service support.

During use, breathe normally through the cannula or mask. Make sure the tubing isn’t pinched or tangled and that the device isn’t overheated. Although the Oxymed Mini is built for continuous use, it’s often recommended to give the machine a short break every 6–8 hours to extend its lifespan, especially in hot environments. After use, turn off the machine and unplug it if not in regular use. Rinse the humidifier bottle daily with clean water and clean the external filters once a week for hygiene and performance.

Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding flow rate and usage duration. Avoid smoking or using flammable items near the concentrator. If the machine beeps, displays an error, or produces warm air for extended periods, turn it off and contact authorized service. With regular maintenance and safe handling, the Oxymed Mini 5L can provide dependable and quiet oxygen therapy right at home.
